Describe your job:
My role is to provide administrative assistance to the Director of Special Education and coordinate field and student teaching placements for the undergraduate and graduate Special Education program.
What's one of your favorite Scriptures and why?:
James 1:2-4, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
These words got me through tough challenges back in college and have been my comfort ever since.
What always brings a smile to your face?:
Seeing my (former) students succeed in whatever ways God has led them to and spending time and doing silly things with my husband.
What do you enjoy most about working at the School of Education?:
As a former frontline teacher before, working here is very precious as I got to support those who give guidance to future teachers.
What's the first dessert you go for at Thanksgiving (or anytime)?:
What's one thing we generally wouldn't know about you?:
I am a qualified cheerleading coach in Hong Kong.
What is your favorite vacation destination and why?:
Now that I have moved to the US, Hong Kong has to be my favorite vacation spot because I can go back to see my family and friends, and have lots of yummy food!
What is your favorite hobby and why?:
If problem solving could be a hobby, that would definitely be it. I love solving puzzles, word search, IQ questions, etc., as it just gives me great sense of achievement!
